AmVets is hosting a blood drive

On Tuesday, April 4, the Post is hosting a blood drive from 1-6 p.m. All donors receive a $20 eGift card and a LifeSouth T-shirt. If you can donate it would be greatly appreciated.

According to LifeSouth’s website: “LifeSouth is a community blood center. That means the blood supply collected from our donors directly serves the needs of patients in our local community. As a blood donor, you are a vital part of a team of individuals working together to save the lives of patients in our area’s hospitals.”

Saturday night fun

The AmVets has a new FREE game on Saturday nights – MUSIC bingo! This easy game is hosted by DJ Bingo. No musical knowledge necessary: The DJ plays a 40-second music clip. At 30 seconds, the name and artist of the song is posted on the TV. At 40 seconds the DJ announces the song title. Look on your card. If you have the song, mark it off. Get the required pattern, win a gift card to the Post. $10 for the first three rounds, $20 for the fourth round.

Food is served from 5-7 p.m. The Auxiliary is cooking on many of the Saturdays. Proceeds goes to support our charities. The woman in charge of the kitchen gets to select the charity of her choice. Volunteers always welcome to cook or assist in serving.
